Mark Edenfield
Bass

Mark Edenfield, bass, is organist/choirmaster at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. His choir participated in the Houston Ballet’s performances of Poulenc’s Gloria in spring of 2006, and Stravinsky’s Les Noces in spring of 2007. The choir also traveled to England to serve a one-week residency at Ely Cathedral in July, 2007. Prior to assuming the position at St. Paul’s in 2005, Mark taught instrumental music for twenty years, and was most recently the director of bands at Spring High School. He has also been the associate music director of the Houston Masterworks Chorus and has appeared as a vocal soloist with the Houston Ballet, the Houston Masterworks Chorus, the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, and the Bach Society of Houston, among others. Mark holds a master’s degree in organ performance from Indiana University and Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Houston. Mark has sung with the Houston Chamber Choir since 2007.
