Felipe Gasper
Bass

Felipe Gasper, bass, holds bachelor’s degrees in voice performance and choral music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a master’s degree in choral conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He conducted the Ohio premiere of Arvo Pärt’s Passio and served as chorus master for a production of Rossini’s La Cenerentola in Lucca, Italy. As a singer, his stage credits include Archibald in Simon’s The Secret Garden and Capulet in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette. He serves as organist and choirmaster at Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church and at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Sugar Land; he is also the rehearsal director of the Houston-based ensemble Chorus Angelorum.
