Felipe Gasper
Bass

Felipe Gasper, bass, holds a master’s degree in choral conducting from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and bachelor’s degrees in voice performance and choral music education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He conducted the Ohio premiere of Arvo Pärt’s Passio and has served as chorus master for a production of Rossini’s La Cenerentola in Lucca, Italy. As a singer, his stage credits include Archibald in Simon’s The Secret Garden and Capulet in Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette. He has also served as cantor for major liturgies of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. He presently serves as organist/choirmaster of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Church and as rehearsal director of the Houston-based ensemble Chorus Angelorum. Felipe has sung with the Houston Chamber Choir since 2008.
