 Maureen Broy Papovich
Soprano |
Maureen Broy Papovich, soprano, earned a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Arizona in 2005. There, she participated in the opera and choral programs and won scholarship prizes in the Marguerite Ough and President’s Concerto Competitions. After graduating, Maureen joined the 2005 Arizona Opera School Tour. In Arizona, she performed as a recitalist and soloist with groups including the Arizona Early Music Society, St. Philips Friends of Music, the Southern Arizona Symphony, the Arizona Symphonic Winds and the Tucson Chamber Artists, and was a soprano staff singer at St. Philips in the Hills Episcopal Church. Since moving to College Station in May of 2008, she has performed locally and joined the Santa Fe Desert Chorale for their 2008 Winter Season. She has sung with the Houston Chamber Choir since 2008.
