 Hallie Reed
Soprano |
Hallie Reed, soprano, is the assistant choir director at Cy-Fair High School in Cypress, TX. A native of Michigan, she graduated from Michigan State University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in music education. While at MSU, she sang with the University Chorale and Women’s Chamber Ensemble, which performed at ACDA National Conventions in 2007 and 2009, and she was a soloist in J.S. Bach’s St. John Passion with the Lansing Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Reed has been a director of Intermediate Choral Studies at Interlochen Arts Camp and taught at the Texas Tech University All-State Camp this past summer. Choirs under her direction have received sweepstakes ratings at UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest. 2010 is Hallie’s first season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
