Stacey Weber

Stacey Weber, soprano, is a native Houstonian who earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance, magna cum laude, from Baylor University. Stacey has had the opportunity to perform with Mercury Baroque, Opera Vista, Lone Star Lyric Theater, Houston Symphony Chorus, Dallas Metroplex Opera, Grace Song, Inc. and Opera in the Heights. Operatic roles include Madame Goldentrill and Miss Silverpeal (The Impresario), Zerbina (Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona), Poussette (Manon), and Angelica (Handel’s Orlando). She most recently played Gretel in Hansel & Gretel with Sugar Land Opera. On the concert stage she has performed Arvo Pärt’s Stabat Mater, Mozart’s Exsultate, Jubilate, and highlights from Ned Rorem’s Evidence of Things Not Seen. In addition to singing, she maintains an active career as a freelance harpist and a private teaching studio. This is Stacey’s first season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
