 Joshua Wilson
Bass

Joshua Wilson, bass, earned a degree in vocal performance from Houston Baptist University in 2002. During his undergraduate studies he performed in the role of Sam in Trouble in Tahiti, and as Hans in the 2000 world premiere of Ann Gebuhr’s opera Bonhoeffer. He also frequently served as a soloist and as student assistant conductor with the University’s Schola Cantorum choir. He currently directs the choir and assists with the instrumental program at St. Thomas High School. Joshua has also been a cantor at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral since 2002. He has sung with several choral ensembles around Houston, and in 2008 performed a set of recitals entitled “Masters of 20th Century Song” with keyboardist Crista Miller. 2010 is Joshua’s first season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
