We are honored to be selected by the NEA as one
of three ensembles in the nation to host a major festival celebrating
our nation’s choral music. On this occasion the Chamber Choir
will present a portrait of American originals as diverse as our
country—Charles Ives, Stephen Foster, Alice Parker and William
Dawson, along with a world premiere from Christopher Theofanidis,
a Houston native now on the faculties of Juilliard and Peabody.
