Eduardo Tercero a native
of Republica de Panama, Panama, has been delighting Houston audiences
as a soloist for the last several years. His credits include Zefirino
in Rossini’s Il Viaggio a Reims, Pulcinello in Argento’s
Casanova’s Homecoming, Goro in Puccini’s Madama
Butterfly for Opera in the Heights; Aeneas in Purcell’s
Dido, and Aeneas for the Ars Lyrica of Houston. Apart from
his stage work, Mr. Tercero’s concert works include Requiem
by Mozart, Piacere in the United States premiere of Il Trionfo
del Tempo e della Verita by Handel, Marcus in the world premiere
of Nicholas of Myra by Robert Nelson and, in his Houston
Symphony debut, Narrator in Lincoln Portrait by Copeland.
Eduardo can be heard in the Newport Classic recording of Argento’s
Casanova’s Homecoming recorded in 2001. He attended
the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and the Moores
School of Music, University of Houston. This is Eduardo’s
fifth season in the Houston Chamber Choir.
