Natalie Broussard

Natalie is an alto and a recent graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she earned a B.A. in vocal performance. She was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate for the School of Music and the College of the Arts. Natalie received the Presser Scholar Award from The Presser Foundation in 2021. She served as Vice President of Choirs and was a member of the UL Lafayette Chamber Singers for 4 years. She was also a member of the UL Opera Theater. Through her childhood, Natalie performed and recorded with Cajun, Zydeco, jazz, and blues bands. She is a show director and a private lesson instructor at School of Rock, where she has directed over 8 seasons of productions. Natalie is a liturgical singer for several churches in the Houston area. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her two dogs, Alfred and Alice. This is Natalie’s first season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
