A Tribute to Houston’s Medical Community and a Celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Center for the Performing Arts in Medicine (CPAM)
Betsy Cook Weber, conductor
Saturday, April 11, 2026; 7:30 PM
St Luke’s United Methodist Church
We are so grateful for the wonderful care our friends in the Houston medical community offer, and we look forward to honoring those who provide it. Featuring Eric Whitacre’s searing, heart-wrenching Sacred Veil, the concert will close as we join forces with The Methodist Hospital Singers for the world premiere of J. Todd Frazier’s Matthew 25.
Dr. Daisy Fancourt, one of the most cited and influential scientists in the world, will give a pre-concert (6:45) lecture. Her research focuses on the effects of social factors on health, including arts and cultural engagement.
