The first round will require the singers to complete the student application form, including four recorded vocalises, and a parental acknowledgment form, including a one-time application fee of $20.00.

These materials are due by March 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. We will notify singers in early April whether they are eligible to advance to the second round.

Singers who advance to the second round will receive the exact procedure to be used in early April so they can practice in advance. Generally, the second round will consist of sightreading eight-measure exercises from Sightreading Factory, Levels 4, 5, 6, major and minor keys. The sightreading round will take place by appointment, via Zoom, during the final week of April.
