aaron vierkant
Aaron Vierkant is an active educator, choral clinician, conductor, and performer, currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Music and the Vocal Area Coordinator at Lone Star College Montgomery. Vierkant also serves the Greater Houston chapter of NATS as the Vice President of Classical Auditions. Vierkant often performs as a featured tenor soloist and with professional choirs around the Greater Houston area. Vierkant is currently a member of Mercury Singers, Houston Chamber Choir, and Voices of Houston, and has held previous singing positions with the Houston Men’s Choir, Houston Symphony Orchestra, and Texas Master Chorale. Vierkant holds a Bachelor of Choral Music Education degree from Sam Houston State University, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting degree from the University of Texas at El Paso, and is currently a Doctoral Candidate for the Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership at Sam Houston State University, where his Dissertation research is a phenomenological study of non-traditional adult learners pursuing a music degree at two-year institutions in the Greater Houston area of Texas. Vierkant is slated for graduation in 2028.
