aubrey Seulean
Aubrey Seulean is a choir director at Oak Hills Junior High School in Montgomery ISD, where she is beginning her third year of teaching. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Houston in 2024.
During her time at the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music, Aubrey performed in the chorus of the opera Ainadamar and in the chorus of Ars Lyrica Houston’s production of Dido and Aeneas. She also participated in a vocal workshop in Paris, France, where she studied French music and collaborated and performed with other musicians. Aubrey competed in two international choir competitions during her collegiate career, traveling to Kerkrade, the Netherlands, and Baden, Austria. In Baden, her ensemble was awarded first place.
These experiences have been highlights of Aubrey’s musical career, allowing her to perform internationally, collaborate with talented musicians, and grow as a singer. She is passionate about choral music and grateful for the opportunities she has had to develop as both a singer and educator through performing, teaching, and making music with others.
