“We bought a blow-up screen, a radio broadcaster, and various other sound equipment. We spent a week pre-recording individual voices and sent them off to a sound mixer to edit the voices together. We did this individually instead of pre-recording as a group to make it easier for online kids to submit their recordings so that they could be included. We then made video slideshows of the students' photos and laid the track under it to show their parents. We had loudspeakers blasting the music and were broadcasting the singing into the cars. Our boosters sold concessions and the kids carhopped, delivering snacks and drinks to the cars while the concert was playing. For the winter concert, we invited a coffee truck to sell warm drinks.”
