Greg Goedecke

Greg Goedecke is a highly sought-after singer, conductor, and clinician in the Greater Houston area and is currently in his eighth season with the Houston Chamber Choir. As a versatile choral artist, he has performed with numerous ensembles throughout the Houston region, engaging in repertoire ranging from Renaissance masterworks to contemporary compositions.

In addition to his performing career, Greg serves as Head Choir Director and Performing Arts Department Head at Porter High School in New Caney ISD. Under his direction, the Porter choirs have earned multiple UIL Sweepstakes awards, produced the school’s first All-State choir students, and received the Performance of Distinction Award at the American Classic Madrigal Festival. He also serves as the Choral Area Coordinator for New Caney ISD, supporting and advocating for choral programs across the district.

Frequently invited to serve as a clinician and adjudicator, Greg is deeply committed to fostering musical excellence and meaningful artistic experiences for singers of all ages.

Greg holds a Master of Education degree from Lamar University and a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Houston.
