Jorge Martinez is a native and proud Houstonian. He holds a degree from the University of Houston’s Moores School of Music in Music Education. While at Moores he had the privilege to compete with the University of Houston’s Concert Chorale in Norway, Amsterdam and more recently Austria where they took home First Prize at the Ave Verum Choral Competition.

Additionally at the MSM, he had the opportunity of performing with the Moores Opera Center and College of the Arts in Ainadamar (Torrero/Prisonero), Sondheim on Sondheim (Performer) and Little Shop of Horrors (Mushnik).

He looks forward to an exciting season with the Houston Chamber Choir!
