Joshua Wilson

Joshua Wilson, bass, earned a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance from Houston Baptist University in 2002.

He has been the Choral Director at St. Thomas High School since 2003, where he also teaches beginning band, AP music theory, and film studies. Joshua also directed the choir at Incarnate Word Academy from 2017-2025.

He has served as the Vocal Division Vice President of the Texas Private School Music Educators Association from 2022-2026. He is also a member of TCDA, and has served as a reader for the College Board’s AP Music Theory exam. As a church musician, Joshua served a cantor at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Houston for fifteen years. A frequent guest soloist and chorister with ensembles including Da Camera and Mercury Chamber Orchestra, he currently also sings with Houston’s Cor Mundi.

Joshua and his wife Lindsey are the proud parents of five children.

This is Joshua’s seventeenth full season with the Houston Chamber Choir.
