Bass-Baritone and Houston native, JP Williams enjoys a career in singing and teaching in the greater Houston area. A proud holder of a masters degree in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy, JP received extensive training in teaching applied lessons as well as stage performance at The Moores School of Music. He has performed for the mainstage shows at the Moores Opera Center as the title role from Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, The Father from Humperdinck’s Hänsel und Gretel, and Joseph Talbot in William Bolcom’s Dinner at Eight. Outside of maintaining his voice studio, he works regularly as a soloist and chorister with Harmonia Stellarum, Bach Society of Houston, and Mercury Chamber Orchestra.
