Katy White is a choral music educator and singer based in Houston, Texas. After graduating with her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of Houston, she spent two years as an elementary music teacher in Fort Bend ISD and now serves as the Assistant Choir Director at North Shore Middle School in Galena Park ISD where her choirs have consistently received superior ratings in contests and festivals.

As a performer, Katy has sung with the University of Houston’s Concert Chorale at the Béla Bartók International Choral Competition in Hungary (2018), and the European Grand Prix in Italy (2019). She also serves as a staff singer for Saint John Vianney Catholic Church and was a featured soloist and ensemble member for their Pilgrimage to Italy (2025). In the 2026-2027 season, Katy is excited to be both singer and stage manager for the Houston Chamber Choir as well as sing with the sacred music ensemble, Cor Mundi.

In her free time, Katy loves to travel, explore new restaurants in the Houston area, and spend time with her cat, Molly.
