Marinna Carmichael

Marinna, soprano, is excited to work with the Houston Chamber Choir and Mercury Singers for the first time this season. Her other occupations include cantor at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart and adjunct music faculty positions at San Jacinto College and College of the Mainland. She has a Master of Music in Historical Performance (Voice) from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, where she specialized in vocal repertoire from before 1750. She earned her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Loyola University New Orleans following training in violin and choir in her hometown, Spring, Texas.
