Melanie Piché Miller

Melanie Piché Miller, soprano, has been an educator in Katy ISD for ten years, spending four years in an administrative role at the high school level after six years in the classroom as a 6A high school choir director. Outside of education, she has been involved in the professional choral world in Houston since 2017.

Melanie is in her fourth season with the GRAMMY® award winning Houston Chamber Choir. In addition to this incredible choir, Melanie has performed as a chorus member and soloist with other notable organizations such as Cor Mundi, Houston Symphony Chorus, Mercury Chamber Orchestra, Bach Society Houston, Cantare HOUSTON, Tallgrass Chamber Choir, and the Christ Church Cathedral Choir. She has performed at the SWACDA 2020 Convention, the TCDA 2024 Summer Convention, and abroad in Scotland, Ireland, Estonia, Latvia, and Sweden. She can also be heard on the Cantare HOUSTON album Love Divine, the Christ Church Cathedral Choir album Mass of the Eternal Flame, and the Tallgrass Chamber Choir album Summer Song.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance with a Minor in Education from The University of Tulsa and a Master of Education in Administration from Lamar University. She lives in Katy with her husband, Brian, and their dog, Puccini.
